Allegations Against Dr. Barry J. Brock and Cedars-Sinai

The complaint claims Cedars-Sinai ignored reports from staff who served as chaperones during sensitive examinations and directly witnessed Brock's alleged inappropriate conduct. Nurses and medical assistants allegedly reported incidents involving Brock, yet the lawsuit asserts that Cedars-Sinai concealed these reports, allowing him continued access to patients.

This recent lawsuit comes on the heels of a previous case involving 35 former patients with similar accusations. Despite these claims, Dr. Brock, 74, has denied any misconduct, stating, “I have never done an inappropriate exam,” and asserting he never touched a patient inappropriately or made suggestive remarks. Nonetheless, the lawsuit aims to hold both Dr. Brock and Cedars-Sinai accountable for what plaintiffs describe as a "culture of silence and protection" that allegedly enabled years of abuse.
